The fourth annual One Night for ONE DROP spectacular celebrates the
tremendous impact of Guy Laliberté’s non-profit organization ONE DROP,
crafting a unique audio and visual experience that captivates the
imagination, while raising awareness and funds for global water issues.
Originally filmed at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas,
on Friday, March 18th, the one night only spectacular boasts a completely
original show produced and created by noted director Hassan El Hajjami.
Inspired by Hajjami’s own experiences walking two miles a day to retrieve
water with his grandmother in their native home of Morocco, this year’s
show was brought to life with more than 100 volunteer Cirque du Soleil
performers. The star-studded benefit generated $6.5 million for ONE DROP’s
global water initiatives, with all proceeds supporting water access programs
across the globe.
