La Fanfafonie, are a group of professional musicians that enhabit Cirque du Soleil. From Quebec, these musicians perform the opening number and even find themselves transformed by the end of the show - from musicians to actors!

Unexpected performances were given by La Fanfafonie, a troupe of musicians who saunter into centre ring with their instruments, sunglasses and beach towels, then proceed to turn a sunny afternoon jam session at the seaside into a Becket-inspired, absurdist beach party.
