A fog fills the stage. A beat fills the air. A sense of urgency washes
over... A sense that time has stood still... A new dimension has opened
and a world is about to reveal itself. A child, a young chinese boy with
a tuft of hair in front caries forth an hourglass filled with sand. He
looks out and turns it over. That action sends a call to the elements
of the Earth. One by one they fill the stage: Gaya is first, in Ochre,
she dances jubilantly about representing the Goddess of Earth. Next,
Azala, in blue, floats in from the air on sheets of silk. She is the
guardian of the sun and immortality and represents the element Air.
Thirdly, Oceane, in Green, dances about and represents the Element of Water. Last,
Yao, in Red, thunders his way to the stage from below. He brings all
the good and evil represented in the element of Fire. The four elements
are together and together they began a rhythmic dance; a dance of
compliments. But, they are drawn to the young boy and once they
all come together as one - a flash; a spark; a fire - and the
world of Dralion is illuminated for all those who come to bear
witness. Then, one by one, the elements part one another and return
to their natural motions... but they will return.
