Experience
Nage (Synchronized Swimming)
(1998+)

Just as water is essential to all life, the swimmers' graceful presence, during the acts and transitional segues, is essential to “O”. At the heart of the production, the swimmers provide the necessary link between the elements of fire, earth, air and water. Choreographed by Debra Brown and Olympic gold-medalist Sylvie Fréchette, the synchronized swimming team is made up of a number of world-class swimmers.

A toe, a foot, a leg. More. Suddenly, the world springs to life and the adventure begins. Mermaids, Sirens, Shiva, Nymphs... who are these watchers from the depths? As these creatures make the essential link between fire, earth, air, and water, we wonder with spirits buoyed: What does the future hold? What will keep us afloat?
