Did you know that what fans now refer to as "Cirquish" - the
imaginary language in which most Cirque songs are sung - was originally
called Salimbanco language? Although the use of
ethnic sounding words had been used in Nouvelle Expérience,
it was in Saltimbanco that Cirque's composers first used
a made-up phoentic language for most of its songs. Many of those
